Today it is Sunday here in Germany and I used the day, to open your book. It was really breathtaking – already the (Ferrari-) nameplate in the book cover inspires and made me curious to look further. Additionally, the cover with the three-dimensional prancing horse is a kind of art.
In the mean while I own a lot of Ferrari books and there are even some rare and special ones in my bookshelf, but all of them stay at the surface. I´ve never seen a book, that loves details so much and dives downright in the peculiarities of a car, like yours.
I think, if I would buy a Ferrari 330GTC, I could learn all about the car only by studying your book. In principle it should be possible to identify any screw before looking at the car.
You can feel the efforts and the time it has taken, to create this masterpiece. I think, alone to complete the list of color types and to find the number of cars, which has been produced, took months. Or the explanation of how the shock absorbers work, reveals the engineer. In that point I can feel with you, because even in production of a crankshaft the technician gets romantic feelings – especially when the prancing horse is embossed afterwards.
In the attachment I show you, that your book got a special place within my house, because such an artwork shouldn´t been hidden in the bookshelf.
The only disadvantage of your masterpiece is its dimension and its thickness. One always has stabilized the book before turning the page (with a twinkle in my eye).
